Vanilla Ice Cream In A Can - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. whole milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together well.
    Put mixture into 1 pound coffee can.
    Close coffee can with a lid.
    Put 1 pound coffee can into a 3 pound coffee can with a lid.
    Put crushed ice and one 6 ounce Dixie cup full of rock salt into 3 pound coffee can (surrounding 1 pound can).
    Put lid on and roll back and forth on a flat surface for 15 minutes.
