Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef (I use sirlion)
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. dry red wine or sherry
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 can consomme (Campbell's)
    dash of pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix together beef, onion, salt, pepper and half and half and shape into 6 thick patties.
    Brown quickly in butter and remove from pan.
    Add flour to pan and blend.
    Add consomme (undiluted) and wine.
    Cook, stirring constantly until thick and it has boiled.
    Stir in Worcestershire sauce, parsley, mushrooms and salt and pepper to taste.
    Return patties to sauce and simmer until done, about 30 minutes.
