Buttermilk Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Sift flour with salt and soda.
    Add egg, buttermilk and butter to flour.
    Stir lightly.
    Batter should be thick, spongy and puffy.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls on griddle. Makes 16 to 18 (3 1/2-inch) pancakes.
