Buster Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Oreo cookies
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1/2 gal. softened vanilla ice cream
    1 lb. salted Spanish peanuts, chopped
    2/3 c. chocolate chips
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 small can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Crush Oreos and mix with the melted margarine.
    Press into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Spread softened ice cream over crust and sprinkle with peanuts.
    Melt the other 1/2 cup margarine and add the chips, sugar and evaporated milk.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer 10 minutes.
    Cool and spread on top of peanuts. Freeze until firm. To serve, cut into bars.
