Cherokee Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. instant rice
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 to 6 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet.
    Pour off grease. Stir in all the remaining ingredients, except cheese.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour into greased casserole dish.
    Top with cheese slices.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until bubbly.
