Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. red kidney beans
    2 strips bacon
    1 big onion
    1 can tomato paste
    salt and pepper to taste
    plenty of water
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. sausage
    2 or 3 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cook beans, bacon, onion, paste, salt, pepper and water for approximately 3 hours on conventional stove.
    After 1 1/2 hours, add sausage, broken into small pieces and chili powder.
    If you use a crock-pot, add the sausage and chili powder at the beginning.
    Serve over rice.
