Rosanne'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening (margarine)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Next add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
    Chill dough for 20 minutes. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts.
    Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
