Bran Muffin Refrigerator Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 cups All Bran
2 cups shredded wheat, crumbled
1 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
5 1/2 cups flour
5 tsp soda
1 Tbsp salt
1 quart buttermilk
Preparation

Beat until creamy:
1 cup shortening, 3 cups sugar.
Add 4 eggs and beat well; 5 1/2 cups flour, 5 tsp soda, 1 tbsp salt and 1 quart buttermilk.
Mix all ingredients together; add raisins, optional.
Pour into plastic sealed containers.
Bake whenever you wish in greased muffin tins at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
This mix will keep in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
