Caramel Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. rusk crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
    4 oz. milk chocolate coated caramels
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick.
    Add sugar and continue beating. Add rusk crumbs, nuts, baking powder and vanilla; mix well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into egg yolk mixture.
