Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. onions, diced
1 c. celery, finely chopped
2 medium green bell peppers
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. butter
1 large can tomato sauce
1 1/2 to 2 c. water
1 c. water
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. parsley
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 lb. shrimp, deveined
Preparation

Saute onions, celery, green peppers and garlic in butter.
Add to tomato sauce, water and seasonings.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Add shrimp; heat to boiling.
Cook over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes until shrimp are pink.
Serve over wild rice.
