Applesauce Muffins - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 large egg
2 Tbsp. oil
1/4 c. honey
1 c. regular whole wheat flour
1 c. white flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
3/4 c. raisins
Preparation

In a large bowl, beat together the applesauce, egg, oil and honey.
Set the bowl aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the whole wheat and white flours, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add this to applesauce mixture, stirring just to moisten the dry ingredients.
Stir in the raisins and divide the batter amoung 12 greased muffin cups.
Bake the muffins in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
