Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, salt, vanilla, butter and syrup.
    Mix thoroughly and add pecans.
    Pour into 9-inch pie crust that has been prebaked for 5 minutes in oven.
    Bake slowly at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    For 2 pies, double all ingredients, except use 5 eggs.
