Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. peeled, chopped apples
    1 1/2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together cinnamon, flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar, then add eggs and mix well. Stir in apples, milk and vanilla, mixing well.
    Beat in sifted dry ingredients.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Do not double recipe.
