Creamed Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 1/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. cooked chicken, cut into bite-size pieces
Preparation
    In saucepan cook onion in butter or margarine until tender but not brown.
    Stir in flour, blending well.
    Add chicken broth and 1/3 cup milk.
    Cook and stir until mixture is thick and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
    Stir in chicken.
    Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is boiling.
    Pour over mashed potatoes.
