Fresh Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. fresh fruit (apples, peaches or berries)
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. shortening, softened
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
Preparation

Place sliced fruit in a 9 x 2-inch round pan or baking dish. Mix 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour together and sprinkle over fruit.
Dot with butter.
Sift together in bowl 1 cup flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar.
Add shortening and blend.
Add milk and egg and stir until thoroughly blended.
Drop by tablespoon over fruit, arranging in a circle, leaving center open.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Serves 9.
