Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. soda
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. oil
1 c. water
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Thoroughly mix dry ingredients, then add remaining ingredients.
Do not use mixer.
Hand beat until smooth.
Pour into already greased and floured cake pan.
Bake 30 to 45 minutes, depending on oven.
The cake is done when a toothpick comes out clean.
