Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    3 eggs, separated
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    vanilla wafers
    5 to 6 medium-size ripe bananas, sliced
    1 egg
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine 1/2 cup sugar, the flour and salt.
    Add 1 whole beaten egg and the three egg yolks.
    Stir in milk.
    Over simmering water, cook, uncovered, stirring constantly, about 15 minutes, until thickened.
    Stir in vanilla.
