Sticky Buns Or Pecan Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium potato
1 c. potato water
1 scant c. sugar
2 yeast cakes
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1 scant c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
7 1/2 to 8 c. flour
Preparation

Boil potato; mash potato and add potato water and 1 scant cup sugar; let cool.
Dissolve yeast cakes in lukewarm water; add to potato mixture and let stand in warm place 1 hour.
Heat milk; add shortening.
Cool.
Add 1 scant cup sugar, salt and eggs.
Add to other mixture.
Add flour; let rise until double in size.
Knead and roll out.
Spread with melted butter, cinnamon and raisins. Roll up and cut into 2-inch pieces.
