Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans chicken broth
2 c. self-rising flour
3 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation
-
Sift flour; rub in shortening with knife or fingertips.
Add milk to make soft dough.
Drop a tablespoon at a time into chicken broth the last 15 or 20 minutes of cooking time.
The pan must be covered closely.
The cover must not be removed during cooking.
