Puerto Rican Rice And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 medium diced onion
    1 medium diced green pepper
    3 crushed garlic cloves
    2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. cilantro (optional)
    1 envelope sazon
    1 (4 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can pinto or pink beans
    1 (4 oz.) Spanish olives (jar)
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. long grain rice
Preparation
    In 6-quart stew pot with cover, wash and strain rice 3 times. Set aside.
    Take first 11 ingredients and place in pot over medium/high flame and stir for approximately 5 minutes.
