Senator'S Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained
1 (17 oz.) can English peas, drained
1 (12 oz.) can Shoepeg corn, drained
1 (2 oz.) jar pimento, drained
1 green pepper, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Cool.
Combine vegetables and stir in vinegar mixture.
Cover and refrigerate 12 hours.
