Paccs(Principal'S Apple Cereal Caramel Squares) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. chopped dried apples
6 1/2 c. bite size crisp rice cereal squares
1/2 c. peanuts
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels, unwrapped
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Preparation

Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
Combine apples, cereal, peanuts and marshmallows.
Mix well in a large bowl.
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine milk and unwrapped caramels.
Stir until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth and creamy.
Pour over cereal mixture; toss gently to coat.
Press in greased pan.
Let stand at least 1 hour.
Cut into squares.
Great for bake sales and lunch boxes.
