Kentucky Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornmeal mix (self-rising)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. cream-style corn
    1/4 lb. grated cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Mix all ingredients as listed except cheese. Add 2/3 of the cheese to the batter. Pour into a greased 10-inch skillet; sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
