Sourdough Starter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. warm water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. instant potatoes
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
Preparation
    Melt yeast in water and then add other ingredients and stir well.
    Let stand unrefrigerated for 24 hours in a quart jar with lid loose.
