Baked Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    50 Ritz crackers (crumbs)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 egg whites, beaten to peaks
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 large (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 large can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 large Cool Whip
    1/2 c. nuts for segments on top
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients together and bake 30 minutes at 250\u00b0 in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Mix together rest of ingredients, all but Cool Whip.
    Pour over top of cake mixture. Top with Cool Whip and chill.
    Good as dessert also!!!
