Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    3 medium size bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained well
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine Jell-O and boiling water. Stir until Jell-O is dissolved. Fold in strawberries, bananas and pecans. Pour 1/2 of mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass dish. Let set in refrigerator half an hour. Spread sour cream over the top evenly. Spoon balance of the Jell-O mixture over the sour cream. Let stand at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
