Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped coarsely
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. pecan halves
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Cream butter with vanilla.
    Add sugar, creaming well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Beat in chopped pecans, syrup and salt.
    Turn into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and arrange pecan halves on top.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack.
