Pie Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cold water
1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Blend cold water and cornstarch; add boiling water and cook, stir until clear and thick.
Let stand until cold.
Using mixer on high speed, beat egg whites until foamy, gradually add sugar and beat until stiff.
Combine the cornstarch mixture and stiff egg whites, mix on low speed, add vanilla and salt.
Beat at high speed until stiff and put on pie.
