Tamale Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. chili powder
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 pkg. Jiffy corn muffin mix
    1 c. corn
    1 can olives, sliced or chopped
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef
    and onions.
    Pour off fat.
    Add salt, chili powder and
    tomatoes.
    Cover
    and
    simmer for 20 minutes.
    Add corn and half
    of
    the olives.
    While meat simmers, make corn muffin mix as
    directed
    on
    package.
    Put
    meat mixture into casserole pan and top with prepared corn muffin mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Sprinkle cheese and remaining olives on top.
