Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add oatmeal to boiling water; let stand 20 minutes.
    Cream sugar, margarine and eggs (one at a time).
    Add oatmeal.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Place in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
