Rhubarb Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. rhubarb, cut into pieces
    4 c. sugar
    2 boxes (4 oz.) strawberry or raspberry Jell-O
Preparation
    Cover rhubarb with sugar and let set 2 hours or until sugar dissolves.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat, stir in Jell-O. Pour into jars, let cool and freeze.
    Keep in refrigerator after opening.
