Washday Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, diced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil or butter
    1 lb. lean hamburger meat
    1 medium head cabbage
    salt
    pepper
    cumin (optional)
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can water
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil; add hamburger and brown.
    Add salt, pepper and any other seasoning you like.
    Wedge cabbage; place over meat.
    Pour tomato sauce over cabbage.
    Fill with water and pour over meat.
    Cover and simmer 30 to 35 minutes.
