Apple Pie Filling For Canning - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    10 c. water
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel and slice enough apples to fill 7 quarts; pack loosely. Boil first 5 ingredients, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
    Add lemon juice and salt.
    Pour over apples in jars.
    Place lids on jars.
    Pressure 10 minutes at 5 pounds pressure.
