24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. shredded lettuce
1 tsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
6 hard-boiled eggs (cut-up)
1 c. grated carrots
1 pkg. 10 oz. frozen peas (cooked and chilled)
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese (grated)
1 c. mayonnaise
chopped green onion
paprika
Preparation
-
Layer in a large glass bowl:
3 cups lettuce, sugar, eggs, peas, salt, pepper, 3 cups lettuce, carrots, Swiss cheese, mayo, green onion and paprika.
Cover.
Chill 24 hours.
Toss when serving.
