Chocolate Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate
1/2 c. soda
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Cream butter, add sugar.
Beat well.
Beat in egg.
Melt chocolate over hot water.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Sift dry ingredients and add to chocolate mixture alternately with milk. Mix well.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
