Apple Harvest Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose or unbleached flour
1 c. Pillsbury's Best whole wheat flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. (2 medium) peeled and finely chopped apples
3/4 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Generously grease (use 1 tablespoon solid shortening) and flour 12-cup fluted tube pan (nonstick finish pan, too).
Lightly spoon flour in measuring cup; level off.
In large mixer bowl, blend all ingredients until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
