Swedish Kringle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients like pie crust.
    Pat into 2 strips 3 inches wide and the length of a cookie sheet.
    In pan, bring to a boil, the next two ingredients.
    Add 1 cup flour and 3 eggs one at a time, beating well and add 1 teaspoon almond extract.
    Spread this on top of the two pie crust strips and bake 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    When cool, frost with 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup margarine, 1 teaspoon almond extract and about 2 tablespoons milk. The only sugar is in the frosting.
