Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced yellow squash
    1 medium onion, sliced or chopped
    1/2 stick margarine
    3/4 c. water
    2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs or toasted bread crumbs
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. milk or water
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients and cook until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
    I use a 6 1/2 x 8-inch baking dish, well-greased.
    Alternate layers of squash and crumbs until all ingredients are used, finishing with crumbs on top.
    Pour mushroom soup over.
    Rinse can with 1/4 cup milk or water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 4.
