Upside Down Apple Gingerbread Cake - cooking recipe

1/4 c. melted margarine
2 large apples, peel and slice
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. hot tea
Preparation

Pour 1/4 cup butter into 9-inch square pan.
Arrange apples over butter.
Sprinkle with 1/3 cup brown sugar.
Set aside.
