Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sized squash
    1/2 c. diced ham
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash squash and cut into pieces.
    Add squash to a small amount of boiling salted water.
    Cover.
    When water returns to boiling, lower heat and cook until tender.
    Drain thoroughly and mash.
    Add other ingredients to squash and mix well.
    Pour into a 1-quart greased casserole dish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
