Porcupines (Kalushka)(A German Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or 1/2 lb. beef and 1/2 lb. pork
    1/2 c. rice
    1 (No. 2) can sauerkraut
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. Lawry's seasoning salt
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Set up water and sauerkraut.
    Meanwhile, mix ground meat, rice and seasonings.
    Form into walnut size balls and place into boiling water and sauerkraut.
    Bring to a boil again and simmer on low about 1 hour, covered. Serve with mashed potatoes.
