Caramel Kraut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. enriched flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and chopped
Preparation

Stir together dry ingredients; reserve. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs to creamed mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla. Stir in sauerkraut and nuts.
Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Frost with Whipped Caramel Frosting.
