Chicken And Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large chicken
2 pans cornbread
8 slices light bread
2 bunches green onions, chopped
6 eggs
1 stick butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 c. milk
1 stalk celery (if desired)
sage (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil chicken in salted water.
Be sure to have plenty of water as this broth will be used in making the dressing.
When chicken is done, cool and remove bones.
Cook chopped onions (use green tops also) and celery in 1 stick of butter.
Add soups and warm. Crumble cornbread and light bread in large bowl.
Mix all ingredients, using the broth.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into large baking dish or several small ones.
Can be frozen. Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown on top.
Baking time depends on size of pan used.
