Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. banana flavoring
2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 recipe Vanilla Frosting
4 medium bananas, thinly sliced (3 c.)
Preparation

In mixer bowl, cream the 1 1/4 cup sugar and butter or margarine until light and fluffy. Add eggs, the first 1 teaspoon of vanilla and the banana flavoring. Beat until fluffy.
