Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
2 1/4 c. flour (self-rising)
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well.
Stir in salt and flour.
Blend well.
Divide in half. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
