Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. scalded milk
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
5 to 6 c. plain flour, sifted
2 pkg. yeast
Preparation

Combine scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt; cool to lukewarm.
Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
Stir and combine with cooled milk mixture.
Add egg and about half the flour; beat well. Add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough; mix thoroughly.
