English Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 plain chocolate bars
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and brown sugar for 3 minutes.
    Add the egg yolk, flour and vanilla.
    Put in jelly roll pan; bake on lowest shelf in oven at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Break up the chocolate bars; put on crust, then melt and spread.
