Creamy Praline - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can evaporated milk
    3 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine or butter
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine 2 cups sugar, 1/2 stick butter and milk in saucepan and cook until soft ball forms in cold water. While this is cooking, caramelize 1 cup sugar in heavy iron skillet. Combine with milk and sugar mixture, stirring constantly until smooth. Add 1/2 stick butter and nuts. Drop from spoon on wax paper. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
