Mushroom Risotto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow onion, chopped
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. brown rice
    2 1/2 c. vegetable or chicken broth
    parsley sprigs
    basil sprigs
    1/3 c. walnuts, pecans or almonds
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, saute onion and mushrooms in oil until soft and golden brown.
    Add rice.
    Saute for a few minutes until coated.
    Add broth.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover.
    Cook over medium-low heat for about 40 minutes or until rice is cooked. Follow directions on package.
    Cooking time varies.
