French Meat Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. each: ground pork and ground beef
    pinch of thyme, sage, salt and pepper
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. bread crumbs
    unbaked pie crust
Preparation
    Cover meat and spices with 1 inch water in skillet; simmer until cooked.
    Add potatoes and enough bread crumbs to soak up grease.
    Put in pie crust.
    Cover with top crust; bake until crust is nicely browned.
    This will make 2 pies.
    Bake in oven at 375\u00b0. These freeze well.
